Features included in our policies are:
- Guaranteed replacement cost. The AUSPL policy will pay to replace the building in the event of a total loss, regardless of the cost to replace it at the time of loss as long as policy conditions are met.
- Rates based on $74.20 per square foot of interior, regardless of where the building is located or the construction.
- Building Ordinance pays up to $1 million to upgrade damaged or destroyed building to new code or demolish any undamaged portion, if required by local authorities. This is important for older facilities.
- Covers loss of rents while building is under repair, if post office stops paying rent during restoration.
- Earthquake, flood and windstorm coverage. Special arrangements may apply to locations in earthquake or windstorm prone areas.
- General liability. Coverage up to $1 million+ per occurrence. Higher limits also available.
